The Life Given Moment
Dear Friends
Welcome to the warm of Spring.
This new season brings forth the blossoming, blooming and bursting into life of nature and hopefully our selves included, out from the hibernation that was winter.
The first few weeks of Spring, call us to our senses as much as they call us to life. To see, hear, sense and feel alive to nature and alive to life. Our senses are only receptive to present moment data, so we need to ‘come to our senses’ both literally and metaphorically. Life is happening in this moment – always and only this moment. Enjoy my verse of ‘This Life Given Moment’ and accept the gift of Life!

THIS LIFE GIVEN MOMENT
This moment,
This given moment,
This life-giving moment is!
For this moment is,
The only moment;
The one and only moment that we have, to live and be alive to life.
This given, life giving moment;
Is the whole moment and the only moment that we have;
To feel alive and be alive to life; in life and as life – right now!
This given, life giving moment;
Is the one and only moment that is;
Always already, just here, just now; anywhere and everywhere we are.
This given, life given and life-giving moment,
Is not the moment before, nor the moment later;
Never the moment that was or the moment that will be.
Yet sadly so often,
We become attracted and distracted,
To the not here moment, not now moment; not knowing moment.
The last moment and the next moment,
While serving a purpose for reflection or consideration,
Should only be seen from the vantage point of this moment now.
Not to do so, be so or know so;
Is to live only as a shadow, a ghost or phantom of our self.
Not fully aware, mindfully aware, to life – right here, right now!
Accept the gift of life, by rejecting no moment of life.
Mindfully and kind-fully receive this moment; each and every given moment.
For this given moment is the only life-giving moment, we can ever really have and be!
