With John Barter – Psychologist & Meditation Teacher

How we think, feel, speak and relate to our self, others and the happenings in of life is very important; for they do make and create our experience of Life.
Is how we are doing so working for us, or does it cause some degree of stress and upset?
The Buddha in his wisdom offered us a set of Psychological Relational Tools called the ‘Brahma Vihara’, the Four Spiritual Attitudes or Emotions.
These four are used for relating and interfacing with all types of experience, helping us to connect and communicate in a Mindful, Kind-ful and Wise way.
These are:
- Mindful Kindness
- Mindful Compassion
- Mindful Joy
- Mindful Calm and Equanimity
This Half – Day Meditation Retreat offers the opportunity for Meditations and Reflections on the Four Spiritual Emotions.
It is also an opportunity to meet with others interested in living a more Mindfully, with Wisdom and Kindness. We will, sit and walk Meditation, have time for teachings, guidance and questions.
