Sometimes Grey
Dear Friends
We can not expect to always have bright and light sun filled days. Our life does also include the grey days as well. This is both true of the weather and climate of nature and also of our psychological nature.
Depending on our psychological mood and even our psychological disposition or character, we may experience more or less grey days. We might see this as our psychological weather, season, even our particular psychological climate. Whether we live under more psychological sunlight or cool and cloudy weather; a grey day can be a most worthwhile experience for nurturing and nourishing our spiritual being.
Enjoy my verse below about ‘Sometimes Grey’.
John B.
SOMETIMES GREY
Grey day,
Beautiful day;
Melancholy mood – my friend.
Sometimes grey just outside,
Sometimes grey just inside;
Sometimes a grey space in every place.
No need for energised excitement,
No need for extroverted enthusiasm;
Time to come in for some calm and quiet.
A time to pause,
A time to ponder;
Some time and space to consider and contemplate.
A time to remember,
To remind and reflect;
A time to review, revise and even forget.
This life, our life;
This life – my life.
My life – this now.
Just now,
Peace in presence,
Just now, ‘Presencing Peace’
Quite Joy,
Mindful Joy,
Mindful Joy – Ease.
