GO TO THE TREES
Dear Friends
There are many suitable and sustaining refuges that we can source or seek out when life becomes difficult and distressing, when we feel depressed or despairing.
One refuge which is increasingly becoming appreciated both by contemplatives and the common person, written and spoken about by sages, saints, scientists, psychologists and philosophers; is that of the Trees and the Forests.
We are learning more about the importance of connecting and communing with nature. This is both the topic of Eco-Philosophy, Eco-Psychology, Ecosophy, Nature Therapy and ‘Forest Bathing’.
For nearly 20 years now I have been planting trees on the land where I live, dedicating great amounts of time and energy both to planting trees and their ongoing care. Many of these trees, bushes, shrubs and plants are now offering shade, fruit, flowers and joy.
Find your way into nature and share some time with the trees!

GO TO THE TREES
When you feel stuck and stressed;
Go to the Trees.
When you feel angst and angered;
Go to the Trees.
When you feel lost and lonely;
Go to the Trees.
When you feel fearful and frightened;
Go to the Trees.
When you feel sad and sorrowful;
Go to the Trees.
When you feel tense and tired;
Go to the Trees.
When you feel reactive and rageful;
Go to the Trees.
When you feel crowded and crushed;
Go to the Trees.
And when you feel happy and hopeful;
Go to the Trees.
For whatever you feel and however you find yourself feeling;
Go to the Trees.
The Tree’s will welcome you, support you and sustain you.
They will nurture you, nourish you and bring you back to Balance, Peace and Mindful Presence.
