NO-SENSE OR NONSENSE
Dear Friends
We seek to find and make meaning even where or when no meaning is implied or is to be applied!
A sentence, statement or a something, may appear as a paradox but may not be a contradiction.
Sometimes the Buddha’s Wisdom Teachings might appear to us like this. However, such Teachings simply may be pointing to the way beyond words; to that domain of mind free from concepts, conceiving and the creation of the conceit of the self!
The ‘Bare Attention’ of Mindfulness as a simple Receptive Awareness makes this special type of Knowing possible.
My verse below hints at this.
John B.
NO-SENSE OR NONSENSE
There is that domain;
That sphere, that space;
Of which and where;
No sight is seen;
No sound is heard;
No smell is smelt;
No taste is tasted;
No touch is felt;
And no one is known!
Is this the sphere;
Of no-sense;
Or is this the sphere;
Of nonsense?
Is there someone or is there no one?
If there is no one might there be all one?
Or could there be one as all?
Or maybe simply none at all!
