Happy New Year 2021.
Welcome to this New Year – the here and the now of where we have arrived.
Given that 2020 was a year like no other for most of the world; this New Year 2021 offers up hope of transcending the challenges of what has been.
It becomes important to pause – ponder, consider and contemplate what and where we are directing our attention.
We all know that, ‘where the attention goes – the energy flows!’
The beginning of a New Year is a great time to ask our selves some important questions, this allows us to mindfully make ‘life by design rather than by default’.
Some questions to pause and ponder might be along the lines of:
What is really important for us? What is really Real? What is Reality, Truth, Freedom and Profound Peace?
If it might be, that what we feel is really important and are ultimately seeking, is Profound Peace; then my verse below may offer inspiration. The Mind fee from the conflict and confusion, distress and disappointment of being caught up in the world!

Perfect Profound Peace is the result of;
The Mind’s, Full and Final Freedom.
Full and Final Freedom is the result of;
Liberation through Letting-Go of all Clinging.
Letting-Go is the result of;
Intensive Insight into Reality.
Intensive Insight is the result of;
Underlying Understanding of the Truth of things;
Underlying Understanding is the result of;
Conscious Contemplation of the nature of things.
Conscious Contemplation is the result of;
Calm and Clarity of Mind.
Calm and Clarity of Mind is the result of;
Maintaining Mindfulness.
Maintaining Mindfulness is the result of;
Mindfulness based Meditation.
Mindfulness based Meditation is the result of;
Practice and Persistence.
Practice and Persistence is the result of;
Meaning and Motivation.
Meaning and Motivation is the result of;
Realising the Reality of the Uncertainty and Insecurity of All Things.
Realising the Reality of All Things is the result of;
Seeking Satisfaction, Security and Safety.
Seeking Security, Safety and Satisfaction is the result of;
Appreciative Awareness of the possibility of Perfect-Profound Peace!
