Sometimes we need to remind our selves as to where it is at, with regards to some peace and quiet, some calm and clarity. Sometimes we need to invite our selves to come to that place, not as a demand or command but as a caring invitation. Enjoy my verse as an invitation to do just that!

COME AROUND AND COME DOWN
Come around and come down;
Drop by and drop in;
Come in and get close;
To that place of peace and presence.
That place that is never too far;
But not so near;
That it does not require some considered care
In engaging the effort to actually arrive!
That place of peace, of mindful pause, of perfect presence.
That place that is not what you thought and never what you think.
That place to rest and relax, to refresh and revive;
That place to remember and remind, to reconnect and recreate!
Mindful moments of meditative peace;
The silent sanctuary of the quiet heart.
A safe place of stillness sought;
The final fulfillment of spacious awareness.
