We are very fortunate to have another Buddhist Monk coming to give Teachings and Guidance next month with a Thursday evening session on 11th of April and a Sunday Meditation Retreat on 14th of April.
Ajahn Thiradhammo, originally from Canada is one of the most senior Western Monks now residing in Australia, having spent many years in Thailand with Venerable Ajahn Chah and then was Abbott in Monasteries in England, Switzerland, New Zealand and now in Australia.
Ajahn Thiradhammo will offer Teachings based upon his new book ‘Beyond I-Making’.

Meditations and Reflections on the Process of Self – Making

One of the most curious yet challenging concerns of our humanity is to understand what it is that we call the self!
One of the important insight understandings in the Buddha’s Teachings is how the mind makes the sense of self, which then causes us so much Stress and Suffering.
Ajahn Thiradhammo will offer meditations, reflections and understandings into the process of self-making through the psychological habit of I – ing, My-ing and Me-ing; based on his new book ‘Beyond I-Making’.
