Find a Friend in Nature
FIND A FRIEND IN NATURE
Dear Friends, while winter may find us spending more time in – doors than what we usually do in the warmer months of the year, we may however be more aware of and even wary of the weather and nature than we usually are. We are more likely to be aware of the air through its coolness; the sun through its intermittent shinning through grey skies and clouds. Certainly, we are more aware of the wind and rain especially when it is so cold. We may also notice the leafless trees and bushes and rocks and stones glistening from a recent rain shower.
Whilst me may look forward to a season of more sun and warmth and less of the chilling wind; Winter is an important time for nature to replenish and quietly heal and grow; often beneath the surface, waiting for Spring to come. So, for now, enjoy the weather, enjoy nature; do not fear it but make it a friend to share this time with.
Please enjoy my verse of delight in nature.

FIND A FRIEND IN NATURE
Trees and stone;
Sun and sky.
Soil and sand;
Water and wind.
All these do delight me;
And in me find a friend.
