John’s Easter Message
Easter is a time of spiritual reflection, not just a holiday to eat chocolates!
Easter, a time traditionally for renewal and rebirth as in the Pagan Festival of Fertility – Eostre (a.k.a. Eastre) was the Great Mother Goddess from which Easter originates – hence the symbols of eggs and rabbits!! Many of you will be taking a break over the Easter holiday period. Enjoy this special time of the year.
Easter also marks the start of the cooler months when finding a warm heart, friendship and connectedness can help our spiritual sense and awareness.

Technology, while an important part of contemporary life, can be a distraction from actual physical presence that we ultimately need for our wellbeing. Create your own awareness around electronic devices and the role that they play in your life – and remember where possible to have that cup of tea with a friend rather than just texting them.
