Dear Friends
OUR LIFE – TIME
Our Life is our time and thus our ‘Life Time’!
In the same way, our life time includes our,
Year time, month time, week time, day time and
Hour, minute, second, moment – present time; all ours!
Strangely always passing, yet always present – now.
So, this year; our year time 2017, is moving towards an end,
Expressing the Truth of Impermanence, that the Buddha spoke so much about.
Yet in his great Wisdom and Compassion, the Buddha also taught us to be mindful and make the most of each moment of time.
In these last weeks of our year, I likewise remind us all, to bring Calm and Clarity, Joy and Peace to all that we do.
In this way we can consciously wind-down rather than getting wound-up, as we finalise and finish this year time of ours.
Decide and design how you would like to end this year, then mindfully make this happen.
How we think, feel and be – is more in our domain and decision than we appreciate.
Have the time of your life – it’s yours to have right now!

RETREATS ON THE TWEED COAST WITH JOHN
This year as I have settled into life on the Tweed Coast – free from my weekly commute and stay in Sydney, I have only run two Meditation Retreat Days so far this year.
Both have been from my country estate ‘Ratanagiri’ and both as a ‘Half Day Meditation Retreat. Both of these have run well and been well attended, including people from Sydney, mid North Coast and Brisbane.
The half day appears to be very popular as a morning of Mindfulness Meditation and Wisdom Reflections, time of both Sitting Meditation and Walking Meditation, Listening to Teachings, Asking Questions as well as Tea and Connecting with others.
My last offering of a retreat for the year will also be a Half Day Meditation Retreat:
Time: 10.00am – 1.00pm NSW time
(9.00am – 12.00 noon QLD time).
Theme: ‘Making Up Your Mind’

SESSIONS WITH JOHN
Psychology Sessions of Supportive Counselling, Mindfulness and Meditation Training, Life Coaching, Buddhist Wisdom Practices, Supervision for Health Care Professions – are available from my offices at Kingscliff or Farrants Hill.
For those outside of these areas I offer Skype or Phone Sessions.
Over this year an increasing number of old clients from Sydney as well as new ones have connected with me for Phone or Skype Sessions, so just because I am no longer Sydney based – don’t feel that you cannot connect with me for sessions – Skype and Phone work very well.
MONDAY EVENING MEDITATION GROUP
Our Monday Evening Meditation Group – continues each Monday at 6.30pm – 7.30m at Ratanagiri 11 Double View Road Farrants Hill.
We will take a break over the Christmas – New Year.
- Last session for 2017 Monday 18th December.
- First session for 2018 Monday 8th January.
Join us for our end of year Monday Meditation Group Party on Monday 18th December 6.30pm as usual – Bring a plate of food to share for a light supper.
